A little about me! My name is Brandon Hitchcock. I live in the
town I grew up in. Where everybody knows everybody.
Friends you went to school with have kids that go to school
with your own kids. I am 36 years old. I am happily married to
my wife Kimberly. We have two children. My 13 year old
daughter Megan Rose, from a previous marriage and my 4 year
old daughter Braelie Jo who is a fireball! I work for Haverhill
Chemicals in Haverhill, OH. I am a chemical operator. I have
worked at this sight since 1998.

I have always been interested in art. When I was very small,
my Grandpa would sit with me at the kitchen table and teach me
how to draw. As far as I know, no one else in my family has the
artistic skills that I have. So I like to say I inherited it from my
Grandpa Earl Hitchcock.  All through grade school, middle
school, and high school I realized more the skills I had been
blessed with.

I wished to continue my education at the University of
Cincinnati. I thought I wanted to be an architect. Long story
short, I didn't go. I bottled up my artistic abilities and didn't use
them again. I then entered the work force.

A few years later, a friend got me into waterfowl hunting. We
went goose hunting. My first goose was a huge Canadian. He
said I should get it mounted. I had never thought of this before
and was very interested. We took the goose to a local
taxidermist. As soon as I walked through the door, I was
hooked. He took me under his wing for a while and I learned
the basics. I bought some VHS tapes on taxidermy. Bought
some books, got me some catalogs and I was off and running! I
haven't looked back. I have now been in business since 1996.
Taxidermy has been my way of getting this artistic energy out of
me. I continue my education by going to taxidermy seminars and
buying  training DVD's. Someone always has a better way of
doing something. There's always time to learn!

I thank the Lord daily for the blessings and experiences he has
given me. It made me who I am today!
